Frequently Asked Questions

Q:  My Jeweler looked at my Grandmother's costume jewelry and told me it wasn't worth anything.
Why did he tell me this?

A:  Fine Jewelry and Costume Jewelry are two different and distinctly separate fields requiring specialized
skills.  Your neighborhood jeweler may specialize in gemstones, pearls and precious metal jewelry but may
not be knowledgable in the field of Costume Jewelry.  While it is true costume jewelry has no "meltdown"
value some pieces may be quite valuable due to other factors. It takes trained personnel knowledgeable in
the area of Costume Jewelry to fairly evaluate your item(s).

Q: I have a bunch of old broken glass beads and costume jewelry sitting in a box.
Do you buy broken items?

A:  That depends.  We have bought many items in the past that required repair. Please contact us to discuss.
Even if you think something it totally unusable, we may still be able to purchase it from you.

Q:  I have a bunch of other items that I would like to sell.
Do you buy any other type of items ?  Can I sell them to you?

A: Yes ! Please contact us.  We purchase many, many items that may not be listed on our website.

Q: Do you purchase entire estate lots?

A:  Yes, we purchase entire estates.   Contact us for details.  We can arrange a convenient time/place
to come out and evaluate the estate.

Q: I would like to sell my Costume Jewelry myself at one of the Internet
Auction Houses? Is this a good idea?

Online auctions are very popular today but can be difficult to use and are riddled with problems. It also takes a while to build a good feedback rating in order to build trust with potential buyers.

By selling to us, you will receive cash in hand as soon as we make an offer to you.
